MStar Golden Moments: Was This Really a Fair Selection?

Daimon

Hello everyone,

First of all, we participated in the so-called Golden Moments event. I already had some names in mind that I believed would win. When I checked the winner list, I was honestly shocked. Despite having so many participants and creators producing high-quality content, very simple and low-effort videos were announced as winners. This is a clear injustice.

I genuinely believe that the videos were either not watched at all or not reviewed properly and carefully. If an event is being organized, it should be done fairly and attentively — not randomly or carelessly.

Let me give an example from my own experience:
I have been working as a professional video editor for nearly 6 years. I have collaborated with well-known YouTube channels and always delivered my work at the highest standard possible. For this competition, I created original and unique videos — content that had never been done or seen before in the MStar game.

Despite this, videos made with tools like CapCut AI, using ready-made templates or extremely basic edits, were selected as winners. As I mentioned before, this feels less like a real selection process and more like a list of randomly chosen names.

If any VFUN employee sees this post, I expect an explanation. Many creators like myself, who put serious effort into their videos, did not win. What is the reason behind this unfairness?

I have tried reaching out multiple times via Discord and email, yet received no response. This is not limited to this event either — the ticket system is ignored as well. I have previously worked as a GM in companies like Elex and Gameforge, and honestly, I have never witnessed practices like the ones I see in this game.

If you are going to organize an event, either do it properly and fairly, or do not do it at all. If I am creating a video from scratch, designing every effect myself, and spending hours in front of my computer even for a single piece of text, I expect a fair evaluation in return.

If VFUN has its own editor, I invite them here. If they use After Effects and are responsible for judging videos as “good” or “bad,” they must do so with real knowledge and expertise. Otherwise, there should be someone in the selection process who truly understands video production and creative effort.

Was this a contest, or was it just a giveaway? It looks like an unfair giveaway was held among the participants. What exactly is the difference between this and Lucky Rewards?

Disregarding people’s hard work like this and simply moving on is unacceptable.
