A.V.A HISTORY — EPISODE 04

Three Roles, One Battlefield
The war had begun.
The EU and NRF were fighting across Europe.
Operations were being launched.
Battlefields were expanding.
But behind every operation were the soldiers who would actually fight the war.
And in A.V.A, not every soldier fought the same way.
From the beginning, players were given a choice between three distinct combat roles:
Pointman.
Rifleman.
Sniper.
Three roles.
Three different playstyles.
One battlefield.
🔫 Pointman — The Fast Assault
Fast.
Aggressive.
Always moving.
The Pointman specialized in mobility and close-range combat, using lightweight weapons such as submachine guns.
Their speed allowed them to quickly close the distance, scout enemy positions, flank opponents, and support teammates when they needed help.
Pointmen weren't built to stand in the middle of an open battlefield and exchange fire.
They were built to move.
To surprise.
To strike.
And disappear before the enemy could react.
For a good Pointman, speed wasn't just an advantage.
It was a weapon.
⚔️ Rifleman — The Backbone
Reliable.
Versatile.
Ready for almost anything.
The Rifleman was the all-around soldier of A.V.A.
Armed primarily with assault rifles, Riflemen were capable of fighting across a wide range of distances and situations.
They could push the frontline.
Hold a position.
Support teammates.
Or take control of an important area.
Their versatility made them one of the most widely used roles in A.V.A.
When the team needed someone to hold the line…
the Rifleman was there.
🎯 Sniper — One Shot, One Chance
Patience.
Positioning.
Precision.
The Sniper specialized in long-range combat and battlefield support.
With powerful sniper rifles and superior range, a well-positioned Sniper could control an entire section of the battlefield.
But there was a price.
Snipers were vulnerable when enemies got too close.
That meant positioning was everything.
A good Sniper didn't need to rush.
They needed to wait.
Watch.
Aim.
And when the moment came…
pull the trigger.
🤝 Three Roles. One Team.
The three roles were designed to complement one another.
A Pointman could move ahead and gather information.
A Rifleman could lead the frontline and provide reliable firepower.
A Sniper could cover the team from a distance.
Each role had its strengths.
Each had its weaknesses.
And each became more effective when working together.
That was the idea behind A.V.A's class system.
It wasn't simply about choosing the role with the strongest weapon.
It was about understanding how your role could help the team.
Because on the battlefield…
one soldier can make a difference.
But a team that understands its roles?
That's a different story.
🏆 More Than a Class
Over the years, players developed their own identities around these three roles.
Some became known for rushing into battle as Pointman.
Some became the reliable Rifleman their team could always count on.
And some became the Sniper everyone learned to fear.
Eventually, asking someone:
"What's your class?"
was almost the same as asking:
"How do you play A.V.A?"
Your role became part of your identity.
Your weapon became part of your playstyle.
And your playstyle became part of your story.

Every veteran has that one map.
The map where they got their first clutch.
The map where their clan dominated.
The map they absolutely hated. 😂
Or the map they could still navigate with their eyes closed.
